Flashback: Flu pandemic, 1918.

With the H1N1 virus looking fairly puny in comparison to the 1918 flu pandemic, the AHA blog has posted various links pertaining to the 1918 Spanish flu that killed 50 million people worldwide. In letters to family, my great-uncle, who was quarantined in an army camp along with my grandfather because of the epidemic, described several who died around him. (Both great-uncle and grandfather survived.)
