Make Way for Robert McCloskey...

... Agatha Christie, who was born today in 1890. She died in 1976. The summer 07 issue of CLUES has an article by Marty S. Knepper positing the real location of Miss Marple's St. Mary Mead.

... and humorist extraordinaire Robert Benchley (member of the famed Algonquin Round Table, author, actor, and grandfather of Jaws creator Peter), who was born today in 1889. He died in 1945.
